Salvo’S Pizza

I don't know why it's so difficult to find a decent pizza place in Tennessee, but.... FINALLY, delicious competition to Nelly's. Not since Brooklyn Bros was around have I enjoyed a better calzone, in size AND taste. For whatever reason, there are a TON of places that just cannot get the crust or the sauce right down here. Thankfully that ends now! I can't wait to come back, maybe i'll find my inner Randy 'Atlas' Santel & try the godfather challenge... But probably not lol My only critique?? Bring a location to Columbia & Hohenwald please!

This place is very impressive in taste and very friendly in service, although it does feel slightly overpriced. I've eaten a slice of meat pizza from there - very big piece, and it was good. Their self proclaimed new york style does exist in there from what I can see, though I am not an expert on new york style pizza. I've eaten both their shrimp alfredo pasta and their spaghetti with meatballs. Pasta comes with free fresh garlic knot, and this garlic knot is probably what makes me give this place 5 stars. It is just right in flavor and is very fluffy, crispy, freshly baked and just nice. In fact, it was nice enough for me to look up in my phone why Italian restaurants serve bread with pasta in general. Apparently, something you can do is use bread to soak up remaining sauce after finishing the pasta. Pretty cool. The alfredo pasta has good flavor and some decently cooked shrimps, but does feel a bit expensive. Their meatballs are ok - it's soft and has some flavor. Their spaghetti is good. Their pastas feel cooked al-dente from what I've experienced so far, which makes it good.

Absolutely loved our visit to Salvo's! The staff were so nice and welcoming. it made the whole experience even better. The pizza was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. And the cannolis were so yummy! We’ll definitely be back!

Ordered takeout for the second time. Absolutely amazing place. Fast delivery. Great quality of food. The price reflects the quality as in it's not the most expensive but it's not the cheapest. Shows up hot and fresh. Sorry guys we ate it too fast for glory pictures lol. Their calzones are monstrous and tasty. The garlic knots are to die for, and the Fettuccine Alfredo is impossible to beat. You'd be denying yourself a lil slice of heaven if you don't try this place .

Absolutely delicious pizza by the slice, good sized pieces! Great variety of options, good bread sticks, and good salad as well. If we are in the area again we will come back. Service was pretty good, only thing is restaurant is a little small so limited seating.

One slice may be enough for you, it’s delicious. Came in around 1 pm , greeted instantly, ordered and sat down. Pizza came out quick and was finished just as quickly
